Overview

If you already have your bachelor’s degree and are looking to pick up the technical skills for a career in IT, this one-year Post-Degree Diploma in Information and Communication Technology is for you. You’ll be introduced to a number of concepts in IT, including agile project management, AI-augmented software development, full-stack development and more.

Learn and work with information technology tools

Learn the technical concepts needed for success in today’s fast-evolving tech landscape, and have the opportunity to further explore topics with five elective information technology courses. Gain a deep understanding of the modern technical environment including cloud infrastructure and advanced enterprise applications, graduating with job-ready skills. You’ll master industry-standard communication and development tools, building powerful applications using modern frameworks and languages such as JavaScript, React, Python, C#/.NET and mobile application development technologies.

Admissions Requirements

Applicants must meet the admission requirements listed below:

  • General College Admission Requirements
  • Applicants must have an undergraduate degree from a recognized post-secondary institution in Canada or an equivalent credential from an approved institution of a different country. Any applicant who earned their credential in a language other than English must meet the 91¾ÞÈé English language proficiency requirement.

Graduation Requirements

  • Successful completion of 30 credits
  • 70% (21 credits) of all coursework must be completed at 91¾ÞÈé
  • Effective September 2024: Up to 50% (15 credits) of coursework used towards a previously received credential can be used to meet graduation requirements (see the Credentials Awarded Policy). Please contact the program coordinator for approval of substitutions.
  • A minimum program GPA of 2.00 is required
  • Time limit to complete program graduation requirements: four (4) years
